Days 10-12: The past 3 days have been a blur, traveling 8 states: Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico.
1,772 miles (2852 km)
We traveled through the hilly, rainy terrain of Alabama, sadly skipped over Graceland, but found rest overnight in a state park of Memphis (730 miles day 1). On to the flat and flooded farm lands of Arkansas, allllll the cows of Oklahoma (I have about 300 more photos I didn't share), to our next stop in Trucker's Paradise of Amarillo, Texas (742 miles day 2). We took it easy this morning before making our way to Albuquerque, New Mexico. The view from the car was awe-inspiring. Sebastian drove the entire way and was completely exhausted! About 30 miles away from today's campsite, our car started making a concerning noise (front axel or something??) We're getting it looked at tomorrow and hopefully won't be stranded too long. New Mexico issued a 'stay at home' order today, but we were still able to grab some groceries and have everything we need to get through some time in isolation. Feeling safe, thankful and happy to be out of the car.
After more than 600 miles of driving
