Day 9: SO many gnats! But almost 90 degrees f, sunshine and such a lovely day. This morning, we found a completely secluded swamp wildlife refuge near our campground and hiked around the trails and abandonded WWII air field. Amazing landscape, thankfully no gators, but we did cross paths with an armandillo! Though, he didn't cooperate for a photo.
We played it safe today with staying at the camper, enjoying a relaxing afternoon. We missed our Manfred Harrer for the usual summertime cookout menu :)
